Canada's own 7 Gate Records has just dropped an electrifying new dancehall compilation titled "Paradise Riddim," showcasing the talents of various top artists affiliated with the label.
This nine-track project, released in February, boasts vibrant contributions from Keywee, JRDN, Tina B, Fully Bad, Cashwayne, Legato, Grantie Asher, Planky Don, and Hummingbird Leleh.
"7 Gate Record prides itself on being an international hub for exceptional musical talent," remarked George Welcome, the label's CEO. "This latest release exemplifies our commitment to collaborating with artists from diverse backgrounds, spanning Jamaica, Canada, the US, Africa, and England."
In addition to the recent release, Welcome disclosed plans for an upcoming EP from Keywee, a promising signee of the label.
"Established in 2018, our mission has always been to nurture emerging talent," Welcome explained. "With Keywee's EP in the works, we're staying true to our roots while pushing boundaries. We anticipate a phenomenal reception from global music enthusiasts."
Looking ahead, Welcome revealed ambitions to collaborate with industry heavyweights such as Vybz Kartel and Ginjah, alongside continuing partnerships with the label's roster of talented artists.
