Born and raised in Pikeville, Kentucky, singer-songwriter Tim Trent began his musical journey in country music during the 1980s. After giving his life to Jesus, however, he felt called to use his talent to share the Gospel. In 2025, that calling became even stronger, inspiring him to begin writing and performing faith-centered music.
Since then, Trent has written more than 125 songs and released two tracks to national audiences: “Happy Mother’s Day” and “That’s Where Jesus Will Be.” He wrote “Happy Mother’s Day” as a heartfelt tribute to his mother, who passed away in 2015. The song became his first official release and is currently being promoted on national radio.
Trent is also a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). His song “What I Lost with Jesus” earned recognition on the Bob Kingsley Top 40. Blending traditional country influences with powerful Christian messages, Trent continues to build his ministry through music. For bookings, contact him at 606-794-5620 or timtrent12@gmail.com.
