Since forming in Los Angeles in 2005, The McGrath Project has developed a story filled with remarkable musicians, memorable releases, and a lasting passion for rock music. Founded by guitarist and vocalist Gary McGrath, the band’s original lineup included bassist Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus, drummer Bryan Head of Dick Dale and Foreigner, and keyboardist Teddy Andreadis of Guns N’ Roses.
The group reached an important milestone in 2010 when Love Is a Four Letter Word achieved more than 500,000 downloads. Five years later, the band relocated to the Dallas and Fort Worth area and rebuilt its lineup for a new stage of its career. Today, Gary is joined by drummer Andy Weaver, keyboardist Dean Minnerly, vocalist Breeawna Littlepage McGrath, and bassist Devin Littlepage.
The McGrath Project has continued expanding its audience through a strong series of live performances. During 2025 and 2026, the band appeared as direct support for Tiffany, Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, and legendary rock group Nazareth. Each appearance added another meaningful chapter to the band’s growing performance history.
Now, The McGrath Project is preparing to reach even greater heights with On the Wings of the Psychedelic Radio Hour. The new album reflects the group’s evolution while celebrating the bold spirit of classic and psychedelic rock. With extensive touring planned for the rest of 2026 and throughout 2027, the band is entering an ambitious new era driven by experience, family, and an enduring love for music.
