Steven Bradley, professionally known as D.D.F, was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served five years in the military, concluding his service in 2020 with the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade (1st SFAB). After multiple surgeries and service-related injuries, he was medically discharged. Despite this, he remains deeply proud of his time in uniform and has stated he would serve again without hesitation.
Now based in East Africa, Tanzania, D.D.F is the Founder and CEO of D.D.F Entertainment. His mission is to unite Bongo Flava artists through strategic marketing initiatives and a culture built on brotherhood, discipline, and mutual growth. His leadership blends military structure with creative vision, positioning his company as a platform for collaboration and elevation within the Tanzanian music scene.
As an artist, D.D.F channels his military background and competitive spirit into his music. His hip-hop single “Straps” is a high-energy anthem inspired by and paying tribute to the iconic video game franchise Call of Duty. The record blends aggressive lyricism with cinematic intensity, while featuring talented Tanzanian artists who bring dynamic local flavor to the track. The song bridges American hip-hop influence with East African artistry, reinforcing his cross-cultural identity.
Beyond music and business, Steven is a dedicated family man with two wives and two children, with aspirations of expanding his family further. At 38, he maintains a disciplined lifestyle, training four to five times per week. A certified personal trainer and dietitian, he also has an amateur boxing background, having been trained by his father from the age of 16.
Guided by loyalty and respect as foundational values, D.D.F believes strongly in freedom of expression and the power of opportunity. Africa opened the door for him to pursue music for the first time, proving that when opportunity meets preparation, new legacies can be built.
